I. What Prevents us from Witnessing:

II. Becoming All Things to all Men (I Cor. 9:22)

A) Recognizing Audience:
1) Long-Term Intimate: Family, Close Friends
2) Long-Term Acquaintance: Some Relatives, Neighbors, People at Work
3) Short-Term Intimate: Friends, Business Associates, Classmates
4) Short-Term Acquaintance: People Met in Passing, Restaurant, Plane, Vacation

B) The Condition/Status of Person
1) Ignorant (John 4:7-26)
2) Indifferent (Luke 12:13-21)
3) Self-righteous (Matt. 23:25)
4) Professor (Luke 6:46-49)
5) Atheists (Romans 1:18-20)
6)Seekers (Phil. 2:5-11)

III. Initiate Discussion-Getting Started-Be Assertive (John 4:7, 10, 16)

*“How have your views of God changed…?”
*“What do you think God thinks about the development of…?”
*“I want to help people since Jesus became the Lord of my life.”
*“Do you think God allowed these good things to happen in your life?”
*“Have you personally trusted in Christ as the basis for your righteousness?”
